How we make a difference

Values in action

We are guided by our values of Kindness, Curiosity and Persistence, which underpin everything we do and form the foundation of The Wagaman Way.

Evidence-based focus

We offer a diverse range of learning programs grounded in strong research about how students learn. Our teaching practices are evidence-based, intentional and continually refined to meet student needs and prepare learners for future success.

Wellbeing in action

We promote active, healthy lifestyles that support both physical wellbeing and positive mental health. Students have many opportunities to participate in fitness, sport and physical activity, building resilience, teamwork and lifelong healthy habits that support overall wellbeing.

Working together

We value the diversity and strength of our partnerships. By working closely with families, community organisations and external providers, we enrich learning experiences and strengthen outcomes for our students.

Learning beyond the classroom

We extend learning beyond the classroom through excursions, camps and outdoor education. With our own school bus, students access low-cost local experiences that enhance learning and connection to the world around them.

Connected pathways

We provide clear and supported learning pathways from the early years through to secondary schooling. Children begin in Wagaman Preschool, transition smoothly into primary school, and are supported to move on to Dripstone Secondary College. Students can continue their Japanese language learning at Dripstone, ensuring continuity and deeper learning.
