We are committed to making a difference for every learner in our community.

The Wagaman School Learning Community is dedicated to providing an inclusive, supportive and respectful environment where every individual is encouraged to reach their full potential.
We actively promote a strong sense of community and belonging. Parents and community members are regularly encouraged to participate in decision making and to join us in celebrating student learning and achievements.
Our school motto, “Making a Difference,” is the driving force behind the innovative and engaging learning opportunities we provide, guiding our commitment to excellence, equity and student success.
We are a diverse, inclusive and community-focused school.

Wagaman Primary School is a small urban school located in the northern suburbs of Darwin, with an enrolment of approximately 260 students from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. Around 33 per cent of our students speak English as an Additional Language or Dialect, and approximately 25 per cent identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
To meet the needs of this diverse learning community, we have developed a range of innovative and targeted educational programs. We actively promote a strong sense of community and belonging through the explicit teaching of our whole-school values, agreements and learner assets. These expectations underpin our positive school culture and guide the way we learn, interact and work together.
