We provide engaging language learning opportunities through Japanese.

The Darwin Languages Centre delivers an in-school Japanese language program at Wagaman Primary School for students in Years 3 to 6. Through this program, students develop foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing, while also exploring Japanese culture and traditions.
The Japanese program provides a clear pathway for students who wish to continue studying the language at Dripstone Secondary School, supporting continuity of learning and building long-term language proficiency.
We support families by partnering with a quality outside school hours care provider.

Child Australia provides after-school care at Wagaman Primary School. The service operates Monday to Friday from 2:40–6:00 pm (excluding public holidays).
Their Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program offers an engaging, caring and friendly environment. Programs are guided by the National Learning Framework and provide children with opportunities to participate in fun, age-appropriate activities that are both challenging and educational, helping them develop lifelong skills and knowledge.
Child Australia also offers an all-day vacation care program during school holidays.

We are proud to be part of a strong and connected local learning community.

Students typically transition from Wagaman Primary School to Dripstone Secondary College. Our close partnership with the school supports a smooth and successful transition for all students.
