We provide targeted programs to meet the needs of all learners.

Students at Wagaman Primary School have access to a range of additional supports that address their individual learning needs. Our Inclusion and Wellbeing Teacher oversees these programs and works closely with classroom teachers to provide guidance, monitoring and tailored assistance. We also employ a dedicated team, including an Aboriginal and Islander Education Worker (AIEW) and Teaching Assistants to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.
Students with identified learning needs receive targeted assistance through an Educational Adjustment Plan (EAP). Each EAP outlines achievable, personalised goals and is developed collaboratively with the classroom teacher, the Inclusion and Wellbeing Teacher and parents. Progress is monitored and reviewed during Learning Conferences, with formal reporting in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Our school implements a range of key intervention programs, including:
- speech and language groups in the early years,
- social skills programs linked to our Mayuma garden and Bunnings community partnerships, and
- self-regulation programs, including Rock and Water.
These programs support students’ academic, social and emotional development, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
